Inspection and survey flights
This flight is not about a shot looking good but about reading something from it. That changes everything: closer, slower, in a regular grid and in even light — because a hard shadow hides exactly the crack you flew for.
What we deliver
- Photographic documentation of roofs, façades and hard-to-reach areas
- A regular grid of overlapping frames for assessing the whole
- Construction progress documented from repeated positions
- Inspection of solar arrays and rooftop equipment
- Delivery at full resolution, unretouched and ungraded
A survey frame is not retouched
On a marketing shot, colours get graded and distractions removed. On an inspection frame that is a fault — the material is evidence, not a picture.
So we deliver the original files untouched, with a note on the position and altitude they were taken from. A copy can be graded; the original stays.
Repeat flights only work from identical positions
Progress documentation is useful when the frames can be laid side by side. That means recording positions, altitude and focal length on the first flight and holding them six months later.
Without that you get a series of handsome photos that compare to nothing.
Frequently asked
- Do you do thermal imaging?
- Ordinary photographic documentation and visual inspection, yes. Thermal imaging and certified measurement, no — those depend on calibrated equipment and accreditation we do not hold, and “almost” is worthless in a technical report.
- How fast do we get the frames?
- By the next working day, because nothing is processed — only sorted and labelled. Same-day delivery can be arranged.
