Advertising and brand photography
Campaign photography differs from every other kind in one respect: it does not record what happened, it manufactures the situation that is supposed to happen. So it stands or falls on preparation — the concept, the casting and the shot list the campaign actually needs.
What we deliver
- Visual concept and moodboard approved before the shoot
- Casting, props and locations driven by the concept
- The hero campaign visual and its per-format variants
- Portrait, landscape and square crops from the same frame
- Retouching, colour matching and export for web and print
Formats are planned, not cropped
A campaign needs the same visual on a billboard, in a feed and in a newsletter. Those are three aspect ratios, and the composition and the space for copy have to work in all of them.
So the shoot composes with room at the sides and keeps the key motif away from the edges. Cropping after the fact works only where the subject sits centrally — in practice, under a third of the frames.
A consistent style beats one perfect photo
Before the shoot we agree lighting, background, crop and colour — and those hold for the whole set and for a top-up shoot six months later. Without it, a website looks like a collage by three different people within a year.
We hand the setup over with the photos, so the next set can be shot the same way even by someone else.
Frequently asked
- What does an advertising shoot cost?
- The price is driven by scope, not by the number of photos: how many shoot days, whether casting and props are needed, and how many formats must come out of it. Half a day in one setting and a two-day production with actors are different orders of magnitude. Send the brief through the inquiry form and you get a price for that scope, not a range that would not fit anyway.
- Can we use the photos without limits?
- Yes, for your own marketing purposes with no time limit. The only constraints are the consents of the people depicted and any model contracts — both settled per job and put in writing.
