Event photography
An event cannot be reshot. Preparation follows: we know in advance who is on the programme, where the key light will be and when the award is handed over, because that moment comes once and lasts five seconds. A conference photo is also worth most that day — not a week later.
What we deliver
- Reportage coverage across the whole event
- Key programme moments against the minute-by-minute run sheet
- Speaker portraits and shots from the networking floor
- A fast selection of processed images on the day itself
- The complete gallery within three working days
- Paperwork for attendee consents and signage for photographed areas
The run sheet is the brief
A minute-by-minute programme says more than a creative brief. From it come the list of moments that must be captured and the split of people across the floor.
For larger events that means two photographers — one at the stage, one among the guests. It is the second set clients usually value most, because it feeds the whole following month.
Consents and sensitive areas
For corporate events we agree in advance who and what may be photographed — guests who prefer not to appear, closed sessions, slides with non-public figures.
The organiser gets a simple notice for attendees and signage for the areas being photographed. That is less work than chasing consents afterwards and deleting images.
Where we applied it
Frequently asked
- When do we get the event photos?
- A fast selection of twenty to thirty processed shots the same day, the complete gallery within three working days. For multi-day events we deliver a selection after each day so it can be used as the event runs.
- How is the price set for a full-day event?
- By length, the number of photographers and whether a fast selection is needed during the event. We publish no rate card, because a two-hour award handover and a three-day festival share nothing but the word “event”. Put the date, length and venue in an inquiry and you get a price for that specific event.
